I’m feeling really proud of the media launch for Darwin200 aboard Tall Ship OOSTERSCHELDE in Plymouth this week.
The media really showed up to tell our story and inspire people with the idea that conservation is not about what we have lost but what we still have. The world’s most exciting classroom is now underway on its first voyage leg to Tenerife.
Alice and I secured coverage in 200+ titles so far including live TV news on BBC, ITV, ITN, Channel 5, GB, documentary crews from TNT … 3 live feeds with Richard Gaisford into Good Morning Britain … countless radio interviews with highlights on BBC Radio 4 Today show interviewing patron Dame Jane Goodall, BBC World Service Newsday, LBC, BBC Devon, Greatest Hits … newswire editorial from Press Association, Reuters, EFE … cover story in The Week Junior … print and online reports in Nat Geo Traveller, Guardian, Times, Sunday Times, Independent, Forbes, MSN … and SO many more. I’m very proud of what was achieved by the dream team at my small but mighty agency, This Chapter PR.
Many a tear was shed as they sounded the ship’s horn and pulled away from the docks. An electric and unforgettable moment. I’m so excited for all the people joining in this great project over the next two years.
Thanks and gratitude to all involved.
Such a pleasure to work with you on thisAlice Dogruyol🎾
